President Obama took a hostile tone during part of his most recent speech on his signature health-care law, singling out conservative media and politicians for their opposition. Speaking at nearby Prince George’s Community College in Largo, Md., the president openly ridiculed concerns over the law as the exchange’s enrollment period starts in five days.

“If you talk to somebody who said, ‘Well, I don’t know — I was watching Fox News and they said this was horrible,’” he said. “I promise you: If you go on the website . . . even if you didn’t vote for me, I’ll bet you’ll sign up for that health-care plan.”

President Obama later read quotations from Republicans criticizing the law. “All this would be funny if it wasn’t so crazy,” the president quipped.

Ultimately, the president guaranteed, once the law goes into full effect, “They will not call it Obamacare.”
