Obama Won’t Show for Coakley

After a busy autumn campaigning for Democrats, President Obama is curiously staying away from the Bay State Senate race (h/t TPM):

Asked about the race, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said during his briefing today that “the president doesn’t have any travel plans to campaign in Massachusetts.”

One wonders which poll the president believes:  PPP or Boston Globe?
