I have listened to a number of radio/tv pundits discuss Obama and the Rev. Wright and haven’t heard the most important reason that the Senator will not be able to distance himself from this man no matter what he says now. Senator Obama and his wife have willingly had their children sit in that church and receive the teachings of this man. If they had gone alone – joined the church as a political decision – that would be one thing, after all it’s a huge church with lots of congregants. But they wanted their children to hear this man speak. Everyone knows instinctively that what we choose to teach our children reveals who we really are inside. They can’t run from that.
