Obama’s Deconstruction

In sum: Romney did great.  He was convincing, serious but not pompous and never patronizing.  Obama did well too.  But Romney is the winner and read between Obama’s lines and the man reveals himself.

“That’s how we ended the war in Iraq,” said Obama, “because I promised.”

That’s how?  That’s why?

Or did we do we it because it was right?

Evidently, what’s good for Obama is good for the nation.  (And what’s good for General Motors is good for Obama.)  Obama carried out his promise; was it smart in retrospect?  Is he happy with the results of total, immediate withdrawal — closer ties between Iran and Iraq all the time?

Romney was solid, presidential, and the clear winner. Deconstruct Obama and there’s nothing left.
