Obama’s Health Care Ads

Watching some television over the weekend, it is impossible to get away from Obama ads attacking John McCain’s health care plan. It’s amazing how much money and attention they are paying to the issue. But the most striking (though not surprising) element of it all is the profound and shameless dishonesty of these ads. Factually and substantively speaking, they are all utter nonsense.

I have a piece on the subject in the new Weekly Standard, and you should be sure to read James Capretta on it here and here too.
