Ramesh: I’m having trouble finding Obama-free zones as well. We have the Che-like t-shirts, the Pepsi ads, Noggin, etc. Lately when I go to the home page, the company is pushing whole wardrobes of Obama-themed clothing. I assume that this is true for some people but not for everybody, on the theory that Amazon constructs tailor-made home pages based on product searches and the like — e.g., if I’ve looked up political books, Amazon pitches me political consumer items on the home page, including Obamapparel.

Anyway, it feels like we can’t get away from this guy, anywhere. Maybe we need a special word for it: Obamnipresence.
