Ohio vs. Florida

One more luncheon post: Wall Street Journal Editorial Board Editor Kim Strassel contrasted the governors’ races in Ohio and Florida. In Ohio, the state GOP broke its promises to voters by raising taxes and spending like crazy before finally succumbing to the corruption that goes hand in hand with such governance. In Florida, Jeb Bush kept his promises to voters by cutting taxes and vetoing billions in wasteful spending. The results? The GOP lost Ohio and retained Florida. (Strassel wrote about Ohio and Florida last month, and correctly predicted the outcome of both races.)
