Now that I’ve slept on it, I basically think John Kerry remains an unfettered crapweasel for that apology. But, I think it does effectively  put the whole thing to rest as a matter of public controversy. Kerry has slunk away to hide in some limepit. And if the GOP tries to keep playing this card in some really aggressive manner it will come out the loser. Not as big a loser as Kerry, but that’s a pretty high mark.
