On Trump’s Immigrant-Crime Ad

In response to Trump’s ‘Racist’ Ad on Immigrant Crime

Robert VerBruggen defends the ad from accusations of racism. What I think he overlooks is that the controversy over the ad isn’t coming out of a clear blue sky. The president has a history on race, and the ad can reasonably be viewed in the context of it.
