Governor Sebelius blasted McCain as a richy-rich — for his multiple homes. I’m not the first to make this point, but let’s hear it again: They didn’t talk like this at the 2004 convention, did they? Sebelius also said that “John McCain believes in country-club economics.” He cares more about people who have “hedge funds” than those who trim “hedge rows.” Etc., etc. WFB used to call this “Shrummery” (after Bob Shrum, the ex-chief strategist and chief scribe of the Democratic party). Why are Democrats never embarrassed to talk like the dumber class of campus Marxists?
