Obama: “George Bush knows that I have never supported engagement with terrorists . . .”
Obama: “I would meet directly with Iranian leaders.”
The State Dept. (few “neocons” there!): “Iran remain[s] the most active state sponsor of terrorism.”
I suspect he and his party protest so much because it his so close to home.
