Earlier tonight, I had a gathering of conservative college gals at NRDC, talking about their summer internships (mostly Heritage and Family Research Council) and hopes for 2012 and things. A semi-consensus: They wanted Rick Perry on stage tonight. The debate stage still seems oddly incomplete as long as potential nominees are missing.
