Make sure you see Ramesh’s Bloomberg View column today. He highlights the work of Nicholas Eberstadt, a demographer at the American Enterprise Institute and a name you ought to know. And he shows why the people most alert to the consequences of the aging of American society — including the disastrous fiscal consequences that would result from a failure to reform our entitlement system — are often nonetheless relatively sanguine about America’s future.
