Our President Is Elderly, But at Least He Eats ‘Like a Child’

Axios reports that First Lady Jill Biden wants her husband to eat healthier, and the president, who seems to go out for ice cream cones so often that you would think he was named “Baskin-Robbins,” is resisting her efforts:

Some Biden aides have long noted that he eats “like a child,” with a food palette that skews beige.

His favorite dishes include peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, BLT’s, pizza, cookies, spaghetti with butter and red sauce, and ice cream that he occasionally makes into a full sundae, according to current and former Biden aides.

In February, the president’s doctor declared Biden “remains fit for duty, and fully executes all of his responsibilities without any exemptions or accommodations.”

Different people have different metabolisms and dietary needs, and I don’t know how much a healthy diet can mitigate the effects of aging on the mind and the body once a man hits 80 years of age.

But I do know that Biden isn’t even trying.
