Over Half of Swing State Voters Don’t Think They Are Better Off Than Four Years Ago

Among voters in swing states, 56 percent think that they are not better off than they were four years ago, according to a new Gallup poll, while 40 percent do they think they are doing better. Not many of those who think they are doing the same or worse than they were four years ago blame Obama — only 20 percent of voters polled directly blamed Obama — but 52 percent of voters did think Obama could have handled issues related to the economy better as president.
