Speaking of The Office, I just heard a bit of Fresh Air on NPR. Terry Gross was interviewing Idris Elba, a.ka. Stringer Bell from The Wire. I had no idea he was British (Yes, I knew that Tommy Carcetti and McNulty were Irish and British, respectively). Even weirder, Elba is going to join the cast of The Office for six shows to play Michael Scott’s boss, sent in from Dunder Mifflin to straighten things out.
