Pardon Me, Pt. 2

Derb: It’s really not a hard concept — Ramos and Compean should receive what our justice system determines that they deserve, irrespective of whether we agree or disagree with the Bush administration’s views and policies on immigration. It’s frustrating to see intelligent conservatives say otherwise and issue what you rightly call “hoots of derision,” because what they are is animal noises. Restrictionists have many good and thoughtful arguments. They are worth making. This rallying around Ramos and Compean, however, is a temper tantrum.
