Paul Iowa Chair: Must Place Third or Better

Ames, Iowa – Drew Ivers, Ron Paul’s Iowa campaign chairman, tells National Review Online that anything below third place in the straw poll would be a disappointment. “A strong third place would be a win,” he says. “It’d mean we’re in the hunt.” Sames goes for earning the gold or silver. But fourth or below “probably would” spell trouble for the Texan.
