Re: Paul Ryan

Even with the caveats, what Ryan did today is exceptionally bold given the position he holds in the party. It is one thing for a writer or talking head to decline to rally around Donald Trump; it’s another for the Speaker of the House to do it. I suspect that he is a little disgusted by the rush to back Trump in certain precincts of D.C., and his refusal to get on board also reflects concerns in his caucus both among potentially endangered moderates and among conservatives.
