Andy, under your conspiracy analysis, Pelosi’s multiple accounts tend to incriminate the other lawmakers (presumably Democrats) from whom she says she learned that waterboarding was being used.
Someone should ask the Speaker who these other lawmakers are. In turn, they should be asked what the CIA told them and what they relayed to Pelosi. Do the respective accounts square? Why did no one protest or take some other form of recourse if waterboarding is, indeed, torture?
Jane Harman would appear to fall within Andy’s analysis, also. And what of Pelosi’s aide who her briefed later?
If they were at all interested, reporters could have a field day with this.
