Pelosi’s Last Gasp

Breaking news on the Hill: Outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi just held a swearing-in ceremony for new members of the Congressional Black Caucus. She then gave a tirade about her agenda. “Yes, I’m still speaker of the House,” she pointed out.

As Pelosi concluded her boilerplate remarks, she offered a vague prediction: “Two years from now, when we come together, things will be different.” Muffled applause followed.
