In an interview on Fox News on Wednesday night conducted before Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, former vice president Mike Pence said the United States should continue to arm Ukraine and impose severe sanctions on Russia:

The United States should “impose sanctions on financial institutions—to cut [Russia] out of financial systems where the American dollar is used is to cut them out of commerce around the world,” Pence said. “We also ought to be shoring up our commitment to provide for the common defense to all of our NATO allies.”
