Ms. Lopez, As I read Power to the People I find myself in general agreement with Laura regarding her position that children are a certainly worth more than the additional funds their absence would provide.  However, as I peak at The Corner this afternoon, I would love to be in a position where I might be able to say “Okay.  This is the result of a fundraiser?  To whom do I make the check out for this to stop?”
