A writer friend revealed to me last night that D.C. basic cable doesn’t carry C-SPAN 2 (which covers the Senate). So last night, he was alternating between watching on his computer and hanging around the Senate. No CSPAN 2 in D.C.? Why would you? It’s not like anyone in D.C. is ADDICTED TO POLITICS. Who else in America in their right mind would watch a Senate all-nighter?
