Rick Perry may run for president again.
“Well, certainly, that’s an option out there,” the Republican Texas governor told Fox News Sunday about a 2016 run in an interview today.
Asked about a University of Texas/Texas Tribune poll that showed Senator Ted Cruz 15 points ahead of Perry among Lone Star State GOP primary voters, Perry was dismissive.
“Polling for an election that’s better than two years off is I suppose good for polling companies,” he said, “but frankly it’s not much good, and I don’t get distracted by those.”
