Perry’s Problem

The next debate isn’t until November 9 — weeks away. Rick Perry did a decent job tonight (and didn’t fall asleep!), but he didn’t get the momentum he needs to rise up in the polls significantly before the next debate. He also needs to find a way to remind voters of why they liked him so much when he entered. Perry has more than his “Texas miracle” to tout; his rhetoric and conservative principles are what made him into a tea-party favorite. But he’s not coming off like that figure in these debates.
