A really horrific story from Pew for anyone who believes in national sovereignty, the rule of law, and the right of a nation to choose who joins its society:
About six-in-ten Mexicans (61%) say they would not move to the U.S. even if they had the means and opportunity to do so. However, a sizable minority (35%) say they would move to the U.S. if they could, including 20% who say they would emigrate without authorization.
So, almost six in ten of the Mexican citizens who say they’d like to move to the U.S. would be happy to do so regardless of the country’s laws? This is intolerable presumption and, if true, it might give pause to those who think that a “comprehensive” bill is going to solve America’s immigration woes.
