Picking Upsets

If I had to pick the most likely shocker of election night — i.e. a victory for someone the numbers say can’t win –  it would be a Steele victory in Maryland. My reasons are almost entirely anecdotal and impressionistic but I think black turnout for Steele will be higher than the polls indicate and many other African-American Marylanders will simply sit out the election. It’s still unlikely, but I just have a feeling.
