Pipes Up

Today’s Between the Covers podcast is with Sally Pipes, author of The Pipes Plan: The Top Ten Ways To Dismantle and Replace Obamacare. On the last NR cruise, I called her “the red-headed scourge of Obamacare”–and that was even before I saw this book. We discuss what’s so bad about government-controlled health care, what’s the single most important reform health care needs, and whether if will take 60 Republican votes in the Senate to repeal Obamacare.

John J. Miller, the national correspondent for National Review and host of its Great Books podcast, is the director of the Dow Journalism Program at Hillsdale College. He is the author of A Gift of Freedom: How the John M. Olin Foundation Changed America.
