Place Names

OK, the Corner is supposed to be a water cooler, so here’s something trivial. I made a glancing crack at Schenectady yesterday just because it sounds funny. What other place names can people suggest for this kind of thing? Hoboken, Oshkosh, and Paducah are pretty obvious (I already used Hoboken here), but can anyone suggest others? I don’t mean suggestive place names, like Intercourse, Pa., and the like (see a list here) or places that are themselves risible, like Detroit or Buffalo or Oakland. Rather, I’m looking for names that sound funny.

Now back to more serious topics, like the Thompson Administration’s cabinet.
