An Education and a Pleasure

Anne Applebaum is an expert on world affairs, and in particular on Eastern Europe, Russia, and the former Soviet Union. She is the author of several books, including Gulag: A History, which won the Pulitzer prize. And she is a columnist for the Washington Post.

Her husband, Radek Sikorski, is a Polish politician, journalist, and writer. He was foreign minister of Poland. His most glittering credential, of course, is that he once worked for NR.

With Anne, I have done a Q&A podcast. We talk about a slew of important things, including Putin, Ukraine, and America. Anne is unusually well-informed and unusually candid. It is refreshing to hear her. Indeed, this podcast is an education (as well as a pleasure).

Enjoy.
