A (Funny) Conservative in Hollywood

The streets of Hollywood are not crowded with conservative comedians and writers. But I’ll give you one: Evan Sayet. He is a big talent, and a friend of mine, and the guest on my latest Q&A: here.

Born in New York City, he was a liberal, like most everybody else, and then 9/11 happened — and Evan saw the liberal reaction. He didn’t like it. He started to question his politics, and politics in general. And he became a conservative.

He wrote a book, The KinderGarden of Eden: How the Modern Liberal Thinks.

In the podcast, Evan and I talk about politics and people. Those people include Carson, Leno, Letterman, Maher, Stewart, and Rock (Chris, not Kid). (And the Stewart is Jon, not Martha.) You don’t meet people like Evan every day, in Hollywood or elsewhere. Try it, you’ll like it — again, here.
