Poll: Walker Up Early in Wisconsin Recall Election

In the first poll taken since Tuesday’s Wisconsin recall primary election, Governor Scott Walker holds a 5 percent lead over his Democratic challenger, Milwaukee mayor Tom Barrett. The Rasmussen poll, taken yesterday, shows Walker holds a 50 percent to 45 percent lead over Barrett, an identical margin to Walker’s win over Barrett in the 2010 Wisconsin gubernatorial election.

The general recall election will be held June 5.
