Polypopery

There comes a point in many discussions where one of the discussers has to

admit he doesn’t know what he is talking about. I am therefore going to

slip away & let you discuss the idea of two Popes among yourselves.

I not that, in any case, the late Middle Ages ended with the Black Death,

the Hundred Years War, and the loss of Constantinople; so perhaps God wasn’t

altogether pleased with the two-Popes business.
