Pot Watch

Granite Staters for Medical Marijuana, a pro-medical pot group in New Hampshire, ranks the candidates. Kucinich scores an A+ for backing medical marijuana “without reservation.” Kerry and Mosley Braun are also both in the A range. Clark and Sharpton earn Bs for being willing to stop raids on patients and cannabis buyers’ clubs. Dean gets a D- for being willing only to impose a one year moratorium while the issue is studied. Gephardt, Lieberman, Edwards and President Bush get Fs, for supporting the status quo. Give us your poor, your tired and your border jumpers, but God help them if they get cancer.
