Yesterday at Slate, David Weigel posted the first serious critical review of my new book, Radical-in-Chief. Weigel asks: “Is the president still a Marxist if he cuts taxes?” I answer that question in my reply to Weigel, “Obama, Pragmatic Socialist,” just posted on NRO’s homepage.
By the way, I think Rich gets the president’s mixture of pragmatism and ideology just right in his column on “Obama’s Mitterrand Moment.”
