Prepositional Preposterosity

Speaking of (a) ending sentences with prepositions, and (b) the expression

“down under” (for the antipodes): I believe the most prepositions anyone

has ever ended a sentence with is eight, in the bedtime grumble of a young

child: “Aw, Mom, what’d you bring that book I don’t like to be read to out

of about Down Under up for?”
