The Venezuelan Ambassador to the OAS, Roy Chadderton has made false and reckless statements attempting to link me to the events of this weekend in Honduras. I categorically deny any such allegations. I challenge Amb. Chadderton to identify which “top authorities” of the Honduran Government I am alleged to have been in contact with. I have been in touch with none.
I urge the representatives of member nations of the OAS to not give any credence to the pronouncements of the representative of the authoritarian regime of Hugo Chavez. Chavez has lied repeatedly about US actions against his government or the governments of his undemocratic accomplices, including that of Mel Zelaya. Chavez’s representative at the OAS is not telling the truth.
