So I’m trying to keep up with the evolution of our non-policy on Iran, and I look for inspiration to this latest strategery document, in which I find this:
“This diplomatic effort must succeed if confrontation is to be avoided.”
And it’s hard not to scream “but they have been waging war against us for 27 years. What is this nonsense about avoiding confrontation? Huh?”
I mean, what are we paying Hadley, Rice and Rumsfeld for if they serve up these lame lines?
