Preview of Next Year?

So, unemployment hits the highest level in five years, and what are House Democrats voting today to do? Why, increase immigration by hundreds of thousands of people, of course! The House Judiciary Committee is expected to approve three bills that would result in a 50 percent increase in new green cards, including one that transforms the numerical ceilings in various immigration categories into floors, another that admits more foreign nurses at a time when nursing schools have a backlog of applicants, and a third bill that would give amnesty to illegal aliens in the military or with relatives in the military. On this last point, here’s the oath of enlistment: “I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.” “True faith”? “Allegiance”? Never mind.
