A few months ago, I wrote that pro-life women were the most underrepresented group in American politics, composing around a quarter of the population but 0 percent of the U.S. Senate, 2 percent of the governors, and 3 percent of the House. In the Senate there will now be one (Kelly Ayotte). The number of pro-life female governors multiplies by four with Martinez (N.M.), Fallin (Okla.), and Haley (S.C.) joining Brewer (Ariz.). Still waiting on some House results.
