Professor’s Lawsuit against University That Fired Him Can Continue

In perhaps the most atrocious “culling” incident in which left-wing administrators try to rid themselves of faculty members who don’t accept their beliefs, Ohio Northern University’s law school fired Professor Scott Gerber. Having done nothing but register his opposition to the school’s DEI policies, he filed suit against the university.

Naturally, Ohio Northern has tried to get the suit dismissed, no doubt envisioning the possibility of an expensive loss, along with a ton of bad publicity. The good news is that the judge has turned down the school’s motion to dismiss, as we read here.

My hunch is that ONU desperately wants to avoid having this case go to trial and will finally offer Gerber a settlement. We may find out soon.
