Progressives Flail Against Judge Gorsuch

Alexandra DeSanctis calls attention to a letter from progressive groups opposing Judge Gorsuch. To my mind, the most notable thing about the letter is its disappointment in and anger toward the group’s usual Senate allies: “Democrats have failed to demonstrate a strong, unified resistance to this nominee despite the fact that he is an ultra-conservative jurist who will undermine our basic freedoms and threaten the independence of the federal judiciary.  We need you to do better.” They are losing this one, they know it, and this letter is a howl of frustration.
