Everyone should read Dan’s excellent post on the Supreme Court’s decision today regarding what the proper venue is for a crime. I write only to observe: It definitely says something about Seattle that, in order to avoid trying a criminal case before a jury there, federal prosecutors stretched the rules to try to bring it in . . . San Francisco, not heretofore known as Prosecutors’ Nirvana!
