To Protect Oscar Stars, LAPD Deployed . . . Snipers

Hollywood’s brightest stars were kept safe last night, thanks to the “most sophisticated security effort yet” deployed by the Los Angeles Police Department, according to the Hollywood Reporter. In a year that saw silver-screen glitterati bashing American Sniper, Chris Kyle, and America’s military ventures in Afghanistan and Iraq, that security effort just so happened to include the following crack squad, positioned on nearby rooftops:

American snipers. Or, as Michael Moore calls them, “cowards.”
