The man was wrong on just about everything concerning the Cold War, that crucial conflict. He and his confreres fought Reagan and others who knew what to do every step of the way. Why does that not count? Why is it buried? Could it be because the bulk of the media establishment is in the same boat? Or is that Agnewesque paranoia? (Not that there’s anything wrong with Agnewesque paranoia . . .)
