The other variation on that theme is how bad it will be for the GOP in November due to the much higher Dem than GOP turnout in the primaries. What bunk! The GOP has its nominee locked in — if my state still had its primary later in the year like it used to, I’d not be voting in it, just like most primaries in the past were inconsequential by the time we had an opportunity to vote.

Dem turnout was larger than GOP turnout by a great margin way back in Iowa, long before the GOP had “its nominee locked in“
