The Corner

Quantitative Journalism (cont.)

A friendly little bounce-back from Razib to one of my Corner posts yesterday. He’s right about the GSS being pretty easy to interrogate. In fact, Razib posted a handy brief tutorial to the GSS interface on the Secular Right group blog, with a follow-up offer of free publicity to bloggers who take up the GSS.

Razib is right that there’s a behavioral economics snag in there somewhere, though. Interrogating the GSS database is too much like work. Data-free bloviating is fun!
