I saw an excellent presentation the other day by Cornell’s Jeremy Rabkin. Rabkin has ably defended the national sovereignty idea in the face of EU-style internationalist thinking. Here’s Rabkin’s recent book on the topic, Law Without Nations?: Why Constitutional Government Requires Sovereign States.
