Rasmussen Daily Tracking: Obama and Romney Tied

Rasmussen has the presidential candidates tied at 45 points each. Consumer confidence has fallen to a new low for the year, and 44 percent of respondents say the job market is worse than it was a year ago (versus just 24 percent who say it’s better).

Obama’s numbers consistently — stubbornly — crest below 50 percent.
